Federico Macheda has been the latest teenage sensation in Manchester United. He is receiving widespread coverage and praise from medias around the world.

Sir Alex Ferguson likes him so much and going to reward him with a big money deal when he turn 18 by August 2009. A reliable source stated that Kiko (Macheda’s nickname) is earning less than 35,000 pounds per annum now. It would be interesting to know what’s the new figure would be.

I had hardly heard of Federico Macheda or Kiko before the match of Manchester United vs Aston Villa. This new teenage sensation had first scored in Aston Villa match then another one in Sunderland match. Despite the fact he scored against Sunderland did upset me a bit because I was staying at Tyne & Wear for around 2 years. However, once again he proved that he has a killer instinct.

The Sun hails Macheda with “Mach made in Heaven”. Well, Sir Alex Ferguson made the following comments about him in the post match interview:

“He has got something special about him. One of the players said he actually tried it.

“He side-footed it as it came to him. It’s that quick-thinking that goalscorers have got. He has just got that instinct.

“He knows the role we want him to play. We want him to penetrate in behind them.

“He has got good movement, he has got quickness in his movement and it showed that when he came on.

“He wasn’t fazed by anything. Right away, he got involved in the game and he had a good 20 minutes for us.”

As we all know, Sir Alex Ferguson has been managing Manchester United for 23 years and won 24 titles including all cup competitions. When he praise a player, that player must be really good. In his comments, it clearly show he is delighted with Macheda. Let’s enjoy Macheda goals.

With all my respect, Sir Alex Ferguson is one of the best football managers in the world if not the best. He simply can deliver the results. Undoubtedly, without him, Man Utd won’t achieve what its achieving now.

So What it takes to make the great man to step down from the most prestigious post? The answer is THREE(3) European Champions League Crowns in a row!!

Sincerely, I hope he will achieve that. But, before that, I also wish he and Man Utd will win 5 trophies in this 2008-2009 seasons!!!
